When I talk to my clients about promoting their Brand through integrated marketing efforts, they don’t always understand what this means and how will it help them. So, I decided to write a blog post that will help simplify what the process is.
Integrated marketing is a tactical approach of implementing your marketing strategy. The first thing you need to do is define what your Brand is, who your competitors are, who is your target audience and what is your “message”. This is defined in developing your marketing strategy, through comprehensive research and analysis. In the analysis, we find your strengths and weaknesses as well as your competitors’. We determine a benchmark of where you are in comparison to your competitors and define what we want to communicate to your target audience.
Once this is accomplished, then you start developing your integrated marketing strategy to determine which online and offline tools and tactics will be used in a single marketing strategy to promote your Brand and get an edge on your competitors.
